What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
"Haikyu!!" is an animated series based on a youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. Set in the world of high school volleyball, the story revolves around Karasuno High School, once dubbed the "Fallen powerhouse, flightless crow," striving to reclaim its glory at the top.
The narrative unfolds through the passionate journey of the main character, Shoyo Hinata, whose love for volleyball drives him, alongside a cast of unique characters. In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical sequel to the anime would be produced.
