BASE is an innovative educational app designed to enhance classroom learning by integrating football-themed games. This tool is specifically crafted to assist teachers in transforming routine educational activities into engaging, play-based learning experiences. With BASE, children can absorb the same educational content they would in traditional settings, but in a fun and interactive way.
The app's structure is organized into three distinct seasons, mimicking the format of sports tournaments. Each season comprises four competitive levels: Regional, National, Continental, and World, along with a Pre-Season. Within these tournaments, children participate in various "matches," which are essentially educational questions at different difficulty levels and quantities. This gamified approach keeps students motivated through the collection of coins, points, and trophies, thereby sustaining their interest and engagement.
The educational content within BASE has been meticulously developed by the Vini.Jr Institute team, in collaboration with educators from the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School. Initially targeting the early years of Elementary School (1st to 5th grade), BASE aims to benefit children aged 6 to 10. By leveraging the universal appeal of sports, particularly football, and harnessing technology, the app makes learning both accessible and enjoyable. Importantly, all questions and educational material within BASE are aligned with the standards of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), ensuring that the learning remains relevant and comprehensive.
