4 players.

Uses a 52-card deck with 13 cards dealt per player. All spades are trump cards.

In Swamp Trump Spades, only spades can be declared as trump.

Objective: Predict your hand wins before play begins and achieve your target.

Starting right of the dealer, players announce their predicted hand wins recorded on the scoreboard.

Gameplay:

Players lead with any card when starting a trick, or follow suit when possible.

Play trump when unable to follow suit, or discard freely when neither applies.

Scoring:

Scores calculate based on predicted vs. actual hand wins:

For meeting/exceeding predictions: 10 x bid + (wins - bid) points.

For falling short: -10 x bid points.

Zero-bid special: +50 points if successful, -50 if any hand is won.

Settling occurs when failing to meet your bid.
