Your score increases with each successful shot: one point for the first boar, two for the second, three for the third, and fifteen points for eliminating five in a row. The score resets after clearing the screen.
You begin each level armed with a bolt-action rifle; ammunition reloads automatically, but there's a brief delay between shots. To reload the magazine, click the flashing on-screen icon. Reaching 40 points unlocks a repeating rifle, activated by clicking the new on-screen prompt (worth five points).
The number of allowed misses decreases as you progress: seven at level one, dropping to four by level six. You can earn extra attempts. At level six, eliminating five boars consecutively without missing (15 points) removes a miss. Boars may require multiple shots to kill; consecutive shots at the same boar count as two boars but score as one.
Level seven introduces a six-bullet charger (five points) at 100 points. Eliminating six consecutive boars awards 22 points and removes a miss. Subsequent levels require increasingly longer consecutive boar takedowns to maximize points and earn extra attempts. Each successful screen clear resets the consecutive boar count. Remember, even with the bolt-action rifle, all on-screen boars are targetable – you just need to master your aim!
