Belote is a four-player card game, with players forming two partnerships. The game uses a standard 32-card deck (7 to Ace). The goal is to score more points than the opposing team. Gameplay begins with the selection of a trump suit. You choose to "twist" (become the declaring team) if you believe you can score more than half the total points with the chosen trump. Otherwise, you "pass."
