HOW TO PLAY

Ludo is a classic dice and race game, currently supporting two players with two houses each. Each player controls eight pieces with the objective to move all pieces home before their opponent. The gameplay involves strategic movement and the thrill of competition.

MOVEMENT OF PIECE

The game starts with the player having the red house. To bring a piece out of the house, a player must roll a 6 on the die. Once on the track, pieces can move according to any die outcome. The journey takes the pieces through a 56-step track from home to the center of the board. A piece can be removed from the game by successfully completing the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.

PIECE CAPTURE

Capturing an opponent's piece is a key strategy in Naija Ludo. A player's piece can capture an opponent's piece by landing on the same block, sending the captured piece back to its home and removing the capturing piece from the board. The essence of the game is to capture as many opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding capture. Note that a piece cannot capture if the remaining die outcome cannot be used.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. A player can roll the dice consecutively if each roll results in a 6.
2. Players must play the outcome of the dice before rolling again, regardless of the result.
3. For a smoother and faster gameplay experience, enable the 'DIRECT COUNT' option in the settings.
