Bennett Takes The Spotlight Again In Upcoming Genshin Impact 5.0 Livestream

The highly anticipated Natlan special program in Genshin Impact is just around the corner, igniting fervent excitement within the community. Hoyoverse has officially announced the program's premiere date, set for this Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4) on Twitch and YouTube.

Promotional materials for the event, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," have already been released, promising a wealth of Natlan-related reveals, including character banners and in-game rewards.

The Bennett Surprise: Freebie or Disappointment?

A significant point of discussion centers around the free character giveaway. While many players anticipated receiving Kachina, a native of Natlan, Hoyoverse has opted for Bennett, the adventurous four-star character, instead. Although rumors suggest Bennett's origins lie in Natlan, this deviation from the established tradition of gifting a character from the new region has sparked debate. Acquiring Bennett will require completing a specific world quest. Kachina, however, will not be available as a free reward.

A Bounty of Free Primogems

The generous offering of free Primogems is another key highlight. Initially announced as 113 pulls, the number has fluctuated, eventually settling at 115. Dedicated players who diligently complete all version 5.0 content can expect this amount. However, those with less time to invest can still anticipate around 90 free pulls.

With version 5.0 launching on August 28th, coinciding with Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary, additional rewards are in store. A seven-day login event will distribute ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss runs, and other events, players could accumulate approximately 18,435 Primogems, equivalent to 115 wishes.
