Larian Studios recently unveiled a chilling preview of a new evil ending coming in Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 7. The 52-second cinematic teaser, shared on X (formerly Twitter), showcases the Dark Urge's descent into utter depravity.

A Father's Legacy of Terror

The preview depicts a horrifying scene: the Dark Urge's companions become victims as their leader succumbs to Bhaal's influence, seizing control of the Netherbrain. The Dark Urge uses mind control to force their companions to their deaths, a chilling prelude to a reign of terror. A haunting narration declares, "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's," before the Dark Urge meets a similar fate.

Beyond the Dark Urge:

This is just one of several new evil endings promised in Patch 7. Larian previously announced improved evil endings, offering darker conclusions for even non-Dark Urge playthroughs. Previously teased endings include the Dark Urge wading through a sea of blood and corpses, and a town consumed by "sheer mindless bliss" under the True Absolute's control.

Patch 7: More Than Just Evil Endings

Patch 7 is a massive update, including much more than these sinister new endings. Expect a dynamic split-screen mode for co-op gameplay, enhanced Honour Mode challenges, and a highly anticipated modding toolkit for player-created content.
