"Chainsaw Man Movie Hits U.S. Theaters in October"

Sony Pictures has officially set the release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, which will slash its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. The announcement came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where it was revealed that they have secured worldwide theatrical distribution rights, excluding Japan. Fans in the US can mark their calendars for a late October viewing, while over 80 other countries will get to experience the film starting September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release on September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. It continues the story of Denji, a boy who transforms his life by merging with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This fusion grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from his body, propelling him from a mere human to the iconic Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the character Reze, a pivotal figure from the original manga. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, with the entire original voice cast returning to reprise their roles, ensuring continuity and familiarity for fans.
