Company of Heroes Launches Cross-Platform Multiplayer

Feral Interactive has released a new update for Company of Heroes. This online, cross-platform multiplayer update enhances the gaming experience across Android, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. Dive into online battles on any of these platforms—read on for all the details.

You can now team up with up to three other players in the game. Thanks to Feral’s Calico matchmaking service, cross-play is fully supported. Whether your friends are playing on mobile devices or Switch, everyone can join the fight together.

The update brings this new functionality to the Nintendo Switch. While mobile players previously enjoyed cross-platform battles, Switch players can now take part as well. Pick up the Company of Heroes Collection for Switch on the eShop today.

Set in the European Theater of Operations, the game starts with the D-Day invasion of Normandy and spans all the way to the Falaise Pocket. Choose your side: the US Army or British 2nd Army for the Allies, or the German Wehrmacht and Panzer Elite for the Axis.

The base game is available on Android through the Google Play Store. Additional expansions—Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor—can be purchased via in-app transactions. These expansions are key for online multiplayer, as they unlock shared maps and units.
