Cyberpunk 2077 Fortnite crossover: Why no male V?

Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, and the collaboration finally delivered a stylish set. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation about CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The explanation, however, is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, the Cyberpunk 2077 lore expert and decision-maker, clarified the choice. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny being male, selecting the female V was a practical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.

Therefore, it wasn't a deliberate omission, but a pragmatic decision. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the addition of John Wick.
