Toby Fox, the game's developer, shared in a Fangamer newsletter, "So, we made a very small SPECIAL ROOM which takes advantage of using MOUSE CONTROLS ON TWO CONTROLLERS AT ONCE, only possible on the Nintendo Switch 2!!" This innovative feature allows for a unique gameplay experience exclusive to the Switch 2.

For those playing on other devices, the special room will still be accessible but will feature a different control scheme. Additionally, players can seamlessly import their save files from the Nintendo Switch demo of Deltarune 1 and 2 to the new version, ensuring a smooth transition and continued progress.

Deltarune Future Chapters Will Be Free

Deltarune is priced at $24.99 and will include Chapters 1 and 2, along with the newly released Chapters 3 and 4. Originally, Chapter 1 was released in 2018 and Chapter 2 in 2021, both available for free. It was previously announced that future chapters (3-5) would be paid content. However, Toby Fox has since revealed that all upcoming chapters will be added as free updates. This means that purchasing the game once grants access to all future content at no additional cost.
