How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

To reach the cat island, you'll need to head to the Omi region, which becomes accessible around the midpoint of the story. Ensure your characters are well-prepared for the challenges ahead, then start your journey northeast to Omi.

Your destination is Lake Biwa, a vast body of water central to the region. It's advisable to secure a boat from the settlements of Azuchi or Omizo to make your journey easier. Alternatively, you can swim if you're up for the challenge.

Navigate to the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, just northwest of Azuchi. This is Okishima, where you'll find a Kakurega to rest and plenty of fish being dried near the docks, indicating a haven for a certain type of animal.

To immerse yourself in the feline paradise on Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter more and more cats. Don't forget to pet them to add these delightful creatures to your collection for use in the Hideout, especially the rare kittens which are scarce elsewhere.

While most Leaps of Faith unlock new map locations, the true treasure on Okishima is your new feline companions. After exploring and taking the Leap of Faith into the haystack, there's not much else to do except enjoy the company of the cats. You'll also revisit Okishima later in Yasuke's story, adding another layer of excitement to your adventure.
