Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, dubbed Sandlord, has just launched, and it's shaping up to be the game's most expansive season to date. This season introduces a host of new features that shake up the traditional gameplay, challenging you to build a floating empire high in the sky.

What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?

The centerpiece of this season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that you'll manage. Here, you'll harvest resources from the Netherrealm and allocate them to five different professions, unlocking trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards. This season uniquely blends ARPG combat with strategic simulation elements.

The character Thea undergoes a dramatic transformation from a divine channeler to the Blasphemer, now spreading desecration rather than blessings. She inflicts Erosion Damage that intensifies over time, adding a darker twist to her role.

The Deep Space region has also been revamped, featuring five new stages brimming with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item called Probes has been introduced. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy their own slot, enhancing both your rewards and the difficulty level.

New Stages Are Here

The endgame experience is enriched with new Legendary Stages that are rare but packed with loot that can alter your gameplay strategy. Some zones defy expectations, such as the Abyssal Vault, which is devoid of enemies but filled with Mystery Chests ready to be opened.

Contrastingly, the Sea of Rites is teeming with a non-aggressive goblin swarm. Eliminating them could summon a hidden boss, adding an element of surprise and strategy.

The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to use it. A well-timed hit can transform enemies into instant treasure.
