Emperor's Children Debut in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge

If your favorite film series is Hellraiser and you enjoy a bit of ironic naming, then you'll be thrilled to know that Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge's newest faction is here with the Emperor's Children! This Slaanesh-heavy faction introduces three new Warlords and a host of innovative mechanics, allowing you to bring suffering to your opponents in new and exciting ways.

The Emperor's Children were once a loyalist Space Marine legion but split from the Imperium during the Horus Heresy. Now, they pledge allegiance solely to the chaos god Slaanesh and their own desires, splintering into warbands that ravage the galaxy in pursuit of new sensations and stimulations.

You have three new warlords to choose from, each embodying the essence of the Emperor's Children. Lord Kaphrael, leading the Callous Blades, focuses on eliminating enemy champions. Xarahan, on the other hand, personifies the arrogance and egotism that the faction is known for. And who could forget Lucius the Eternal, the immortal swordsman whose skills have been honed over millennia.

Cards with the Ecstasy keyword receive an effect when their health drops to a certain threshold. Units marked with Cruelty gain an effect if they damage, but do not destroy, an enemy unit. The Stimulation keyword triggers an ability when the unit is targeted by stratagems. Lastly, Combat Elixirs cause some cards to generate additional stratagems, which can be used to activate their abilities.

Keep an eye out for the Emperor's Children, as they will be available in new booster packs and DLC starting now. With these new abilities and units, you'll have the tools to truly torment your foes.
