Marvel Studios has released a teaser for the debut trailer of the upcoming film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
A brief clip titled 'PREPARE 4️⃣ LAUNCH' depicts a group of children running eagerly toward a shop window, where a crowd is already gathered around vintage television sets. The screens show a rocket lifting off, what appears to be the Fantastic Four suiting up in astronaut gear, and a 'Prepare 4 Launch' message. Although two screens are partly blocked by onlookers, the televisions and the overall aesthetic suggest the movie is set in a retro-futuristic 1960s.

Here is the official synopsis for The Fantastic Four: First Steps:
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet.Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.
At New York Comic Con in October, attendees were shown artwork featuring key faces from the MCU, including the first live-action look at The Fantastic Four’s robotic companion, H.E.R.B.I.E.
Fans speculate that Robert Downey Jr. may re-enter the MCU as the iconic villain Doctor Doom, either in The Fantastic Four: First Steps or in a post-credits teaser. Kevin Feige has confirmed that the Fantastic Four will appear in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
