Fuecoco Stars in Pokemon GO March Community Day

Get ready for an exciting start to March 2025 in Pokémon GO with the Fire Croc Pokémon, Fuecoco, taking the spotlight in the first Community Day of the month. Dive into the details of this event, upcoming Community Days, and the Timed Research rewards for the Beloved Buddies event.

Fuecoco Appears in March’s First Community Day

Pokémon GO has announced that Fuecoco will be the star of the first Community Day event on March 8, 2025. During the event, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time), you'll see Fuecoco appearing more frequently on the map. Plus, the chances of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco will be higher.

Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (which evolves from Crocalor) during or within a week after the event allows it to learn the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn the Charged Attack Torch Song without any time limits.

Don't miss out on the Special Background Timed Research, which rewards trainers with a Fuecoco encounter featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks not only boosts your chances of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco but also must be completed by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm (local time).

For a small fee of $2.00, you can access the exclusive Community Day Special Research, granting you three Fuecoco encounters with Seasonal Special Backgrounds, along with Battle Passes and Rare Candies. You can also gift this ticket to friends at the Great Friends level or above.

Pokémon GO Revealed Community Days Dates for March and Beyond

In addition to Fuecoco's spotlight, Pokémon GO has unveiled the dates for Community Day events from March to May, all scheduled on weekends. Here’s the lineup:

• Saturday, March 8, 2025
• Saturday, March 22, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
• Sunday, April 27, 2025
• Sunday, May 11, 2025
• Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

Community Day Classic events bring back fan-favorites like Ralts, originally featured in August 2019 and revisited in January 2025. While new Pokémon are set to be featured on the other dates, their identities remain a mystery for now.

Candela or Arlo: Which One to Choose?

The Beloved Buddies event, which introduced Dhelmise, includes a Timed Research that lets you choose between two paths: one with Candela, the Team Valor leader, and another with Arlo, a Team GO Rocket leader. Each path offers unique rewards and experiences.

Before choosing your path, you'll complete initial tasks that reward you with Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Then, make your choice:

• Candela's Path: Focus on building relationships with your Buddy Pokémon. Rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

• Arlo's Path: Concentrate on catching Pokémon and battling. You'll receive Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
