The Season of Witchcraft in *Diablo 4* introduces an array of new content that captivates players. To fully immerse yourself in the latest season, you'll need to gather a scarce new resource: Fugitive Heads. Here's your guide on how to acquire Fugitive Heads in *Diablo 4* Season 7.
*Diablo 4* Season 7 is packed with exciting features, but the Witchcraft Powers stand out as they offer unique gameplay abilities. These powers, however, require a boost from a new resource called Occult Gems, which grant 160 Armor and 8% Resist All. Crafting these gems is no easy task; you'll first need to obtain a Fugitive Head and deliver it to Gelena at the Tree of Whispers. Once you have at least one Fugitive Head, you can craft more Occult Gems using 1,000 Restless Rot and 50,000 Gem Fragments. Clearly, mastering the acquisition of Fugitive Heads is crucial for maximizing your experience in Season 7.

Blizzard ensures that obtaining Fugitive Heads isn't a walk in the park. Players must complete Whisper bounties in the new Headhunt zones of Season 7. Upon completion, there's a slight chance an Uprooted Cocoon will spawn. However, don't rush to break it open; doing so will summon Headrotten Bosses. With a bit of luck, one of these bosses may drop a Fugitive Head upon defeat.
This process is long and largely dependent on chance. Fortunately, you can increase your odds of finding Fugitive Heads by using the Draught of Whispers Elixir, available from Exposed Roots, Whispers Cache, and Coven’s Cache. This elixir boosts the chance of Fugitive Heads spawning by 50% and also increases the likelihood of Forgotten Altars appearing.
Another key factor is difficulty level. Fugitive Heads have an extremely low spawn rate on difficulties below Torment. Given their rarity, it's advisable for casual players to gradually acclimate to Torment difficulty before embarking on a Headhunt. Remember, Season 7 runs until April, leaving plenty of time to explore and gather these elusive resources.
That's how you can secure Fugitive Heads in *Diablo 4* Season 7. For more guidance, check out how to solve and complete Poison in the Roots.
