Gunzilla Games - developer of the free-to-play battle royale Off the Grid - not only secured the Game Informer brand but committed to bringing back the complete team, including production staff and more.
The acquisition marks an unexpected second life for the 30+ year-old gaming institution. Gunzilla, led in part by filmmaker Neill Blomkamp as Chief Creative Officer, has pledged complete editorial independence for the publication under its new entity, Game Informer Inc.
