Heavy Metal, one of the most iconic and influential anthology magazines in the world of comics, is set to make a triumphant return to comic book shops. The excitement is palpable following a highly successful crowdfunding campaign, and the new volume of Heavy Metal is slated to launch on Wednesday, April 30.

Fans can grab Heavy Metal #1 at their local comic shops starting April 30, with newsstand availability following on May 13. The magazine plans to be published quarterly, with potential for a more frequent schedule if demand increases.
