Alphadia III launches globally on Android today, marking the third installment in the acclaimed RPG series. Published by KEMCO and developed by EXE CREATE, the title originally debuted in Japan last October.

What is the premise of Alphadia III?

Set in the Alphadian Year 970, the narrative unfolds during the climactic Energi War—a devastating conflict centered around a mysterious energy source known as energi.

The continent is fractured into three major powers vying for dominance: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east.

Amid the turmoil, a clone soldier named Alfonso encounters Tarte, a messenger informing him of a fellow clone's death—an event that irrevocably changes his path.

How does the gameplay work?

Alphadia III features classic turn-based combat with side-view perspectives and pixel-art visuals. Battles incorporate SP Skills that accumulate during fights, allowing strategic turning points when executed timely.

The game also introduces Arrays—customizable battle formations unlocked through progression—providing tactical flexibility against diverse enemies.

A new mechanic, the Energi Crock, lets players deposit unused items during journeys to generate Energi Elements over time, exchangeable for equipment and items at specialty shops.

Players will encounter factions like the peacekeeping Deval alliance and elite units such as Nordsheim's Rosenkreutz. The world also hosts distinct clone series, including Nordsheim's Berger Series and Schwarzschild's Delta Series.

Beyond the main storyline, Alphadia III offers extensive side quests and is optimized for controller support. The game is available for $7.99 on Google Play, with an ad-supported free version also offered on Android.
