In a statement, the developer said, "After taking the time to gather and discuss feedback from our recent closed beta, we've realized that we missed the mark." Tripwire remains committed to ensuring that Killing Floor 3 evolves boldly while staying true to the series' roots.

While a new release date hasn't been announced, the game is still slated for a 2025 release.
