Alchemy Stars is shutting down its online service on January 24th, 2025, but will transition to an offline version. This means players can still enjoy the game's story and gameplay, but without updates or online features.
Service End Date and Offline Transition:
The game's online servers will be deactivated on January 24th, 2025. Before this date, a crucial update (version 1.43.0) will be released on January 10th (4:00 to 9:00 GMT) allowing players to save their game data locally. This offline save feature is a one-time opportunity to preserve progress.
Saving Your Game Data:
After updating to version 1.43.0, a data save button will appear on the main menu. Players can save their data multiple times before the January 24th deadline (4:00 GMT). Unsaved data will be lost permanently after this time. The offline version will only allow access to previously saved data; reinstalling the app after the shutdown will not restore progress.
Offline Version Capabilities:
The offline version will allow players to revisit the story, upgrade units, and interact with their saved progress. However, it will not receive any further updates. The app will also be unavailable for download from app stores after the shutdown.
Final Thoughts:
While not ideal, the offline version offers a better alternative to a complete game shutdown. Players are encouraged to download the game from the Google Play Store and save their progress before January 24th, 2025. Stay tuned for our upcoming news on Play Together's first 2025 update!
