Is Makiatto a Worthy Collectible in Girls

Should you summon Makiatto in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium? The answer is largely yes, but with some important caveats.

Why Makiatto is Worth It:

Makiatto remains a top-tier single-target DPS unit, even in the established Chinese server. Her exceptional damage output makes her a valuable asset. While she requires some manual control to maximize her effectiveness and isn't ideal for auto-battle, this is offset by her powerful Freeze capabilities. This synergizes perfectly with Suomi, a leading support character, creating a formidable Freeze team composition. Even outside a dedicated Freeze team, Makiatto's raw DPS makes her a solid addition to any squad.

Reasons to Skip Makiatto:

However, if you've already secured a strong starting roster through rerolling, Makiatto's value might diminish. Specifically, if you possess Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo, Makiatto might not offer a substantial upgrade to your team's progression. Tololo, despite potential late-game scaling issues (rumored to be addressed by future buffs in the CN version), already provides considerable DPS. With Qiongjiu and Sharkry complementing each other, adding Makiatto might be redundant. In this scenario, conserving Collapse Pieces for future characters like Vector and Klukay would be a wiser investment. Unless you require a second strong DPS unit for immediate boss battles, Makiatto's impact will be less significant.

Ultimately, the decision hinges on your current roster strength. If you lack a powerful single-target DPS or aim to build a Freeze team, Makiatto is a highly recommended addition. Otherwise, consider saving your resources for other valuable units. Check out The Escapist for further game guides and information.
