Metal Slug: Pre-Registration Now Available for Android Unveils Adventure

Get ready for a blast from the past! HaoPlay Limited is bringing back the arcade action with Metal Slug: Awakening, launching globally on July 18th, 2024. Pre-registration is now open!

What's the Buzz?

Metal Slug: Awakening offers a modern take on the classic '90s run-and-gun series. Initially revealed in 2020 by TiMi Studios as Metal Slug Code: J, the game has seen some delays and name changes. Following its Southeast Asia release in late 2023, it's finally ready for a worldwide launch.

For those unfamiliar, Metal Slug is a beloved Japanese run-and-gun franchise, debuting in 1996 courtesy of Nazca Corporation. It has since expanded into a multimedia phenomenon.

While Metal Slug has seen previous mobile iterations (Metal Slug Defense, Metal Slug Attack, and Metal Slug Commander), Awakening aims to raise the bar with enhanced features.

The game stays true to its roots with classic shooter gameplay, but boasts upgraded visuals and new mechanics. Reunite with your favorite Metal Slug characters in brand-new missions. Explore a World Adventure mode, team up with friends in 3-player co-op, and conquer Roguelike challenges.
