MindsEye Unveils New Gameplay Trailer, Sets $60 Price, Plans Content Rollout

Build A Rocket Boy, the developers behind MindsEye, have released an exciting new trailer for the game, setting a clear $59.99 price point and detailing the rich content players can expect at launch. Led by former Rockstar North veteran Leslie Benzies, the studio has confirmed that MindsEye will launch on June 10, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Set in the near-futuristic city of Redrock, MindsEye offers a compelling linear story campaign where players will take on the role of Jacob Diaz, a former soldier grappling with fragmented memories due to his mysterious MindsEye neural implant. As Jacob, players will unravel a deep conspiracy involving rogue AI, corporate greed, a rogue military, and a threat that endangers the very survival of humanity. The game's story is enhanced by state-of-the-art visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5, promising a visually stunning experience.

One of the most intriguing features of MindsEye is its PC-only game creation system, which empowers players to craft their own experiences using the game's assets. This tool opens up a world of possibilities for creative gameplay and community-driven content.

The $59.99 price is positioned as a "refreshing departure from the standard $70~$80 AAA price tag," offering significant value to players. For this price, players will get the main linear story campaign, single-player free roam, and a variety of missions at launch. These include a horde mode mission titled "Destruction Site Shootout," two combat missions, "Honor Amongst Thieves" and "Friendly Fire," six races, six checkpoint races, and three drone races. Those who opt for the premium pass will enjoy an additional horde mode mission and an exotic cosmetics pack.
