Get ready for the excitement of the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now, part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade. This special online paid event will run from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, and it's all about the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos. To participate, you'll need an event ticket available from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks continuous Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring only Chameleos, eliminating wait times between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Plus, you'll have the chance to earn exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear.
The Spring Hunt event also introduces Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be accessible, with the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub opening from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During the event, from May 19th to May 25th, you can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can then be traded at the hubs for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.
Chameleos, renowned for its stealth and ability to obscure visibility with a mysterious fog, becomes available starting May 24th, 2025. Engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions and challenge this vanishing menace. If you're ranked 100 or above, you can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. Chameleos is particularly susceptible to Fire, Dragon, and Blast, so tailor your build accordingly.
Defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armour, featuring the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half and makes it easier to poison your targets. Additionally, materials from Chameleos can be used to craft weapons across various categories, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. Prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025 by downloading Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and gearing up for the challenge.
