Pokémon Go has introduced an exciting new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for the upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event. This premium add-on enhances your experience with a variety of in-game items and exclusive access to upgraded real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms."
Go Fest, the annual summer highlight for Pokémon Go enthusiasts, is set to occur at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. For those attending the Jersey City event, the $100 Premier Access upgrade offers a plethora of benefits, as announced by developer Niantic.
Think of this upgrade as a Business Class option for the event. Premier Access ticket holders will enjoy exclusive access to a lounge area featuring "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While the specifics of the restroom upgrades remain a mystery, the promise of enhanced facilities is certainly appealing.
Additionally, the Premier Access ticket grants you fast-track entry to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store. This perk is especially valuable as it allows you to skip the line and maximize your playtime, rather than spending it queuing for merchandise.

The highlight of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the extensive collection of in-game items it provides. This treasure trove includes 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and many more. In fact, the value of these items could easily exceed $300 if purchased separately.

Premier Access ticket holders will also receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.
The reaction to this ticket offer has been varied. Some players are taken aback by the high cost, noting that Pokémon Go has never before offered such an expensive ticket upgrade. This comes at a time when the game is introducing more monetization options than ever before. On the other hand, some players appreciate the value of the in-game items included and believe that those with disposable income, who have already committed to attending Go Fest, might find the upgrade appealing.
IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.
Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's event will focus on the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
