Flat2VR Studios has exciting news for fans of the cult classic: they're bringing the iconic trash shooter, Postal 2, into the immersive world of virtual reality, 22 years after its initial release. The project was unveiled with a captivating debut trailer that showcases the game's signature blend of humor and chaotic gameplay.
In the trailer, we follow the protagonist, known as the Dude, on his mission to gather signatures to support the development of Postal 2 VR. The developers then highlight some of the remake's innovative features, including a revamped shooting mechanic designed specifically for VR controllers, an enhanced user interface, and a more intuitive mini-map system.
A dedicated Steam page for Postal 2: VR is now live, offering fans a glimpse into the game with screenshots, system requirements, and further details. To run the PC version, players will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 graphics card, and 8 GB of RAM. While Russian voiceovers won't be included, the game will feature subtitles to ensure accessibility.
Despite the modern enhancements, the essence of the original Postal 2 remains intact. Players will navigate through everyday tasks such as grocery shopping and library visits, but as always, they have the freedom to ditch the routine and unleash total chaos at any moment.
Postal 2 VR is set to launch on multiple platforms, including SteamVR, PS VR2, Quest 2, and Quest 3, broadening its reach to VR enthusiasts across different systems.
