Back in January, Bluepoch Games teased an exciting collaboration on the horizon. Now, fresh details have emerged about the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover, which promises to bring Ezio Auditore into the fold as a playable character.
In partnership with Ubisoft, this collaboration will spotlight two of the most beloved entries in the Assassin’s Creed franchise: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released in January showed Vertin walking down a rain-slicked street, with the iconic glowing Assassin’s Creed logo appearing mysteriously in the distance.
The full schedule is now live. The crossover will roll out across Android, iOS, and PC platforms in August 2025. Beyond the inclusion of Ezio, players can look forward to a variety of Assassin’s Creed-inspired content.
This collaboration is divided into two distinct phases, each introducing new themed stories and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, immersing them in a setting rich with intrigue and mystery. Expect Vertin and her team to explore cryptic clues in 15th-century Italy.
Phase II then shifts focus to ancient Greece—specifically the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of that title may recognize familiar settings and storylines as Vertin and her companions find themselves entangled in events inspired by the game.

This update marks a major milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first global sync across all servers. That means players worldwide will gain access to the event content simultaneously.
Reverse: 1999 is a time-travel RPG that blends modern gameplay with nostalgic retro design. You step into the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who remains unaffected by a mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm.
When The Storm strikes, entire historical eras vanish without a trace. Vertin and her companion Sonetto journey through different timelines, rescuing other arcanists sensitive to these temporal disruptions.
