It’s already been a year since Bluepoch Games released their 20th-century time-travel RPG, Reverse: 1999, and the title is now celebrating its first anniversary with a major update: Version 1.9, named "Vereinsamt."
During the Reverse: 1999 First Anniversary event, you can get Semmelweis, a 6-star character, for free by simply logging in. You'll also receive 30 free pulls during the celebration.
Lucy, a new 6-star DPS hero, joins the roster—her design draws inspiration from the classic film Metropolis. While she appears robotic, Lucy is actually an awakened arcanist linked to the Watt steam engine prototype, with a deep passion for advancing scientific progress. She’s featured in the limited-time banner "Thoughts in Cylinder."
The 5-star character Matilda returns, and Kakania, who debuted in Version 1.7, is back as well. Starting October 10, she'll be available in the "Observation into the Mirrors" summoning banner. Check out the First Anniversary video below.
A rogue-like mode titled "A Series of Dusks" will arrive soon, offering the chance to unlock Lorelei, a new 5-star character, plus a variety of attractive rewards.
Collaborations with Discovery and KOI are also on the horizon. Discovery will introduce outfits for Tooth Fairy and Getian, while KOI’s partnership kicks off in October with limited-edition merchandise.
In addition to new heroes, Version 1.9 introduces the game's first exclusive outfit. Regulus receives the "Take Off! To the Future" garment, bringing updated Ultimate animations and effects. Jessica, Voyager, and Sonetto will also receive new looks.
