Stellar Blade's Festive Holiday Update: New Costumes, Decorations, and a Mini-Game!

Get ready for some holiday cheer in Stellar Blade! Shift Up is launching a festive event on December 17th, bringing Christmas spirit to Xion. This update includes new holiday-themed outfits, decorations, a mini-game, and more.

New Holiday Outfits and Accessories:

Eve, Adam, and the Drone get festive makeovers! Check out these new looks:

• Santa Dress (Eve)
• Rudolph Pack (Drone)
• I’m No Santa (Adam)

Eve's holiday style is complete with a new Santa Girl hairstyle and accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.

Festive Xion and a New Mini-Game:

Xion is decked out in holiday decorations, spreading cheer to The Last Gulp and Eve's camp. Enjoy new seasonal BGM ("Dawn (Winter)" and "Take me away") while exploring the transformed city. A new mini-game, involving a holiday-themed drone, offers special rewards. Details on the mini-game mechanics and prizes are still under wraps.

Control Your Seasonal Content:

This update introduces an option to enable or disable seasonal content, including the Nier:Automata DLC, in the game's settings under "Gameplay" -> "Seasonal Event Content". Choose from:

• Auto: Automatically enables/disables based on the season.
• Disable: Always disables seasonal content.
• Enable: Always enables seasonal content.

Note: Changing this setting requires a restart from your latest save.

Mixed Fan Reactions:

While many fans are excited about the update, some have expressed concerns about the frequency of event updates in a single-player game with a relatively short playtime (around 30 hours). The need to restart the game to fully experience the seasonal content is also a point of contention.
