System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster Coming to Nintendo Switch

Nightdive Studios has announced that System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition—the updated version of the iconic 1999 sci-fi horror action RPG—is now officially titled System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. The remaster is set to launch not only on PC and major consoles but will also be available on Nintendo Switch.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is coming soon to Windows PC via Steam and GOG, as well as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Here’s the official description:

It’s the year 2114. As you awaken from cryo sleep aboard the faster-than-light ship Von Braun, your memories are fragmented—you can’t recall who you are or why you’re here. A full release date will be revealed during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025, alongside a brand-new trailer, according to Nightdive Studios.
