Ready for a thrilling ride through time? Dive into "Time Enforcers," the new time-travelling adventure RPG that hit the scene today, courtesy of indie developer PFA Designs. Now available on Android via the Galaxy Store and Amazon Appstore, this game promises to let you punch time in the face and fix history. Intrigued yet?
In "Time Enforcers," you're thrown into a wild sci-fi storyline where time has gone completely haywire. The adventure begins with Episode One: Time Out of Time, where you find yourself in feudal Japan, tasked with quelling the chaos caused by a villain named Chronolith.
Chronolith, who dubs himself the Imperial Ruler of the Trans-Dimensional Realm, is tampering with actual history. As a new recruit of the Galactic Space-Time Consortium, you're guided by mentors with names that echo real historical figures, such as H.G. Wells and Professor C.T. Huygens.
These Time Enforcers Agents are inspired by real-life legends. You'll encounter more agents like Amelia Earhart, Benjamin Banneker, and Kaizen (a nod to Japanese philosophy, though not a real person). There's also Togo, the heroic sled dog from the 1925 Serum Run.
The gameplay features turn-based battles, puzzles, and a narrative that unfolds like a fully animated comic. Characters speak, and word bubbles appear, making the story accessible and engaging for players of all ages.
Your essential tool in this adventure is the Chronoton 5.12, which aids in answering historical and cultural questions. Bolded text in your mission briefings provides clues, and a comprehensive reference section within the Chronoton offers insights into the real-world sources that inspired the game's story.
"Time Enforcers" masterfully blends fiction with fact. You might be solving a puzzle set by Chronolith's right-hand menace, the Inquisitor, a completely fictitious character. Yet, you'll also interact with reimagined historical figures like Amelia Earhart.
The game includes a table of contents that tracks your progress and allows you to revisit any chapter you've completed. Plus, Episode Two, "Flying into the Chrono-Storm," featuring Amelia Earhart, is already on the horizon.
