Dive into the thrilling world of Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, a newly released roguelike card battler now available globally on Android. Crafted by the renowned Kazuma Kaneko, celebrated for his surreal world-building and iconic demonic designs in the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series, this game promises a unique experience. Developed by the Japanese game studio COLOPL, Kaneko joined the team in 2023 to lead this project, infusing it with his distinctive style.
At the heart of Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter lies an innovative AI-driven system called the Okami System. Powered by a proprietary model named AI Kaneko, which was personally trained by Kaneko, this system introduces an artificial deity named Okami. As you navigate through dungeons, Okami meticulously observes your gameplay and decisions, dynamically generating new cards that mirror your playstyle. This real-time adaptation adds a deeply personal touch to your gaming experience.
Set against the backdrop of The Hashira, a once futuristic high-rise now overrun with monsters in Tokyo's bayside area, your mission is clear. You must ascend to the top of this tower to confront Noriko Tomi, the president of the construction company responsible for The Hashira. Targeted by the elite national defense unit, Tsukuyomi, due to her plans to overthrow the state using hidden jujutsu traps, your journey promises intense challenges and strategic depth.
Enhance your gameplay with two new characters: Izayoi Tsukuyomi and Shingetsu Tsukuyomi. Izayoi adopts a conventional strategy, enhancing attack and defense with upgraded cards. Notable Jinma cards for Izayoi include Seiryu, Finn MacCool, Mormo, and Watanabe Tsuna. Meanwhile, Shingetsu specializes in chain attacks, crafting complex strategies with Jinma cards such as Mach, Kirin, Kato Danzou, and Suzuka Gozen. Keep an eye out for future updates that will introduce Mangetsu and Hangetsu to the roster.
