Vampire Survivors recently released a highly anticipated free DLC titled "Emerald Diorama," marking one of the game's largest updates yet. This DLC introduces a crossover element inspired by Square Enix's iconic JRPG series, SaGa, infusing Vampire Survivors with fresh JRPG vibes.
The Emerald Diorama brings a brand-new stage to the game, designed as a mini-world map with world-hopping mechanics. Players will encounter over a dozen unique characters, ranging from puppeteers to cursed songsters. The DLC adds 16+ new weapons and introduces a Glimmer system that allows players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs. Additionally, nine new music tracks have been added to enhance the gaming experience.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players must visit Moongolow and speak to a new merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold and unlock the content step by step. The DLC also features character parties, enabling players to form their own squads. For a closer look, watch the launch trailer below.
Two new Adventures are also included, offering mini-campaigns with six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" is available in the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands on the DLC content.
In addition to the DLC, Vampire Survivors received another free update named "The Coop." As the name suggests, this update revolves around chickens. Introducing Gazebo, a new chicken character, along with a unique weapon and relic that accelerates gameplay. Players can earn achievements and unlock Darkana by collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens. A handy tip: avoid killing anything for the first minute to activate the Gaze of Gaea and evolve it with Parm Aegis to unlock Gazebo.
Download Vampire Survivors from the Google Play Store to enjoy the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the complementary update The Coop. Cross-platform saves are now supported across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
