War Strategy: Immersive Open Alpha Now Live

Marauder Tech Games launches the open alpha test of its tactical medieval fantasy game, Price of Glory: War Strategy. This turn-based strategy game features head-to-head duels set in a harsh, visually stunning world.

Gameplay Overview:

The game unfolds across diverse and challenging terrains – from arid deserts to dense forests and fiery volcanic arenas. Each turn requires careful troop deployment and strategic maneuvering to protect your stronghold and breach enemy defenses.

Players choose from various factions and unit types, including scouts for reconnaissance, heavily armored knights for direct assaults, and healers for crucial support. The asynchronous gameplay allows for thoughtful planning, with a 24-hour turn limit. For quicker matches, a five-minute blitz mode is available.

Price of Glory caters to all play styles:

• Skirmish Mode: A casual mode for testing strategies without high stakes.
• Tournaments: Competitive single-elimination tournaments with valuable prizes.
• Salt Tournaments: Free-to-play tournaments where players earn in-game currency ("salt crystals") through ads or simple tasks to enter cash tournaments with real-money prizes.

Resource Management:

Animo is the primary resource for recruiting, moving, attacking, and activating special unit abilities. The limited Animo per turn emphasizes strategic decision-making in player-versus-player combat.

The open alpha test is currently live on the Google Play Store for Android users in North America and Oceania.
