World of Warcraft Patch 11.1: Undermine and Beyond

World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermine," introduces the subterranean Goblin capital as a major new zone. However, the update expands beyond Undermine itself, adding several intriguing subzones.

Key additions include:

  • Undermine: The sprawling underground Goblin city, featuring towering structures, narrow streets, and inventive contraptions. A central hub, Slam Central Station, serves as the primary entry point, with five potential access points indicated on the map.

  • Gutterville: Situated in the southeastern Ringing Deeps, Gutterville is a corrupted area marked by a distinctive maroon coloration. It houses Excavation Site 9, one of two new Delves in Patch 11.1, and likely provides access to Undermine.

  • Kaja’Coast: Located in Zuldazar near Bilgewater Bonanza, this new Goblin encampment on the southwestern coast is another probable entry point to Undermine. It's speculated to be where the tram system, showcased in the initial Patch 11.1 announcement, is situated.

The discovery of these subzones, initially revealed by Wowhead through data mining, suggests a more extensive update than initially anticipated. While the exact connections between these locations and Undermine remain to be fully explored, the presence of multiple access points hints at a complex and interconnected experience.

While a firm release date is pending, current predictions point towards a mid-to-late February launch. However, players can anticipate access to these new areas on the Public Test Realm (PTR) in early January.
