Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their latest focus is the Witcher series. A YouTube channel, Sora AI, has unveiled a concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, styled to evoke the aesthetic of 1980s films.
This project leverages the power of neural networks. The trailer features many recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, and Priscilla, among others. While there are subtle stylistic differences, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of Triss's wedding in the game. Originally planned as a Novigrad quest titled "Ashen Marriage," the storyline depicts Triss's burgeoning feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift wedding. Geralt assists in the preparations, tasks including ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the chosen gift. Less thoughtful presents are poorly received, while a memory rose—a familiar item from Witcher 2—elicits a strong emotional response.
