Wuthering Waves 2.3 Update Released with Anniversary Celebrations

Wuthering Waves has just rolled out its exciting Version 2.3 update titled "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer," perfectly timed with the game's first anniversary and its much-anticipated Steam launch for PC players. The update, available from April 29th to June 12th, 2025, introduces a wealth of new content including characters, story arcs, and events that will keep players engaged over the coming weeks.

This update brings new storylines such as "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither," alongside a fresh batch of Phantom Echoes including Crownless (with its Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and the intriguing Chest Mimic. Players with a decent Union Level will find plenty to explore and enjoy.

Celebrate the game's milestone with the "Gifts of Grand Celebration" login event, running from May 23rd to June 11th. Players at Union Level 8 and above can log in to claim Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance. Additionally, the "Gifts of Grand Reunion" event (April 29th to June 11th) and "Gifts of Melodic Verses" (June 5th to June 19th) offer Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and various upgrade materials as login rewards.

New and Returning Minigames

The beloved Cubie Derby makes a comeback, serving both as a leisure warm-up event and a spectator event where you can support your favorite Cubes. By rolling dice, moving your Cube on a board, you can win rewards like Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.

During the first phase, players can pull for Resonators such as Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with weapons like Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This phase lasts until June 11th.
