Rinascita is brimming with intriguing discoveries, including a variety of puzzles that can be challenging to solve. Among these are the Morph Paintings, which are featured in two types of puzzles: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are relatively simple and highly rewarding if you're looking to gather extra resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Here's a concise guide on how these puzzles work, their locations, and how to solve them.
To restore Morph Paintings, you simply need to find the correct painting and place it on the designated pedestal. Start by reading the descriptions on the pedestals to identify the corresponding portrait. Then, use your Levitator utility to position the painting correctly. The game will usually switch your equipped utility to the Levitator automatically, but if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab/D-Pad Left.
Currently, there are two such paintings in the game, associated with the quests Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old.
During the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, players explore the three towers in Thorncrown at Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower features a Morph Painting puzzle. To solve it, use the large central painting as a reference and follow these steps:
Upon completing the puzzle, a chest will appear, allowing you to continue with the quest.
The Trials of Old quest involves completing four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. One of these trials, the Trial of Wisdom, includes another Morph Painting puzzle. Arrange the paintings on the pedestals to tell a story from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
To ensure you're placing the correct Morph Painting on the right pedestal, watch for the frame lighting up after insertion. This visual cue can help you bypass the puzzle's mechanics more easily.
