Microsoft's Apology Resolves Enotria Xbox Release Issues, But Date Remains Unclear

Jyamma Games Expresses Gratitude to Phil Spencer and the Community

Microsoft has reportedly apologized to Jyamma Games for delays in the Xbox certification process for Enotria: The Last Song. The apology followed reports of Microsoft neglecting Jyamma Games' submission for over two months, leading to the developer's announcement of an indefinite postponement of the Xbox release.

Jyamma CEO Jacky Greco previously voiced frustration on the game's Discord server, stating that Microsoft's lack of response for two months indicated a lack of concern for both the game and its players. The Series X/S version was ready, but the inability to submit it caused significant financial setbacks.

However, Microsoft's intervention changed the situation dramatically. Jyamma Games publicly thanked Phil Spencer and his team on Twitter (X) for their prompt response and assistance in resolving the issue. The studio also acknowledged the strong support from the player community, stating their voices were instrumental in bringing about this resolution.

Jyamma Games is now collaborating closely with Microsoft to expedite the Xbox release, although a specific launch date has yet to be determined.

Jyamma Games isn't alone in facing Xbox release challenges. Funcom recently reported optimization issues with the Xbox Series S port of Dune: Awakening. While the PS5 and PC versions of Enotria: The Last Song are still slated for September 19th, the Xbox release remains uncertain.
