Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to be released on April 23rd. This update marks the culmination of Season 1, promising to tie up loose ends and deliver exciting new content.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update will unveil the long-awaited resolution to the Sacrifice crisis. Players will delve deeper into Vivian’s intricate backstory and finally uncover the truth about Hugo’s fate following his dramatic plunge into the Hollow. Tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS escalate, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to address the crisis.

Joining Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory in pursuit of the Sacrifice Core. Vivian’s encounters with figures from her past and the unraveling of the Exaltists’ conspiracy promise a thrilling narrative experience. Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, excelling in dealing Corruption damage, especially when teamed up with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, the second new addition, is an Ice Attack Agent equipped with a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His Totalize effect amplifies damage against stunned enemies, scaling with the remaining stun duration.

Robin, the agile Bangboo partner from Mockingbird, will also join the fray, throwing cards with unpredictable effects. Additionally, Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, are set to rerun in the upcoming banners.

Version 1.7 will also introduce new events to Zenless Zone Zero. One such event, 'Say It With Flowers,' allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements for customers. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
