TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION):
Perform a standard speed communication test.
TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION):
Perform a high-speed communication test. Note that this is only supported by certain vehicle OBD-II protocols.
¹Only ISO 15765-4 CAN OBD-II protocols, in conjunction with high-quality OBD-II adapters, can achieve the 140 parameters per second data rate. Older protocols may only deliver 4 parameters per second in the worst-case scenario.
