Entering Your Code:

1. Press the pre-determined button (usually 1) repeatedly until the first digit of the code appears on the screen.
2. Repeat this process for buttons 2, 3, and 4.
3. Confirm the code using the appropriate button (5, , or > depending on your radio model). For example, Ford 6000CD uses 5, Sony uses , and most VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat models use > (right arrow).

Troubleshooting SAFE/LOCKED/WAIT/ERROR Messages:

All radios have security measures to prevent brute-force code entry. After several incorrect attempts, your radio may be blocked.

• Ford: If you see "WAIT," leave the radio powered on for 30 minutes. "LOCKED" or "LOCKED10" may require holding button 6 for ten seconds. "LOCKED13" indicates a semi-permanent block requiring dealer assistance.
• VW/Volkswagen: Three incorrect attempts result in a "SAFE" or "SAFE2" message. Leave the unit on for 60 minutes to re-enter the code.
