DownloadCatch Records for English/Welsh Under 10m Vessels Fishing in UK Waters
Use this app to create and submit catch records for all English and Welsh under 10 metre (U10m) flag vessels that fish in UK waters.
All U10m flag vessels are required to meticulously record their catch. This data is vital for UK fishing authorities to manage fishing levels sustainably, ensuring the longevity and health of our marine ecosystems.
Who can use this service?
- Registered Vessel Owners
- Skippers
If you are a registered vessel owner, you will receive an invite email. The timing of this email depends on your vessel's size. You have one calendar month from the receipt of this email to register and begin using the service.
If you are a skipper, please contact the vessel owner to request an invite.
Important Note for Members of Producer Organisations:
If you are a member of a producer organisation and lease quota, you should not use this online service to record your catch. Instead, continue to use a paper logbook for your records.
This service replaces:
- The NEP1 form
- The MSAR1 form; however, depending on your location, local Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) may require additional information.
- The requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in 2 ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe).
