The School module in AVLView offers a range of features to enhance safety and convenience:
- Create Pre-Scheduled Trips: Schools can set up pre-scheduled trips for their buses, ensuring smooth and timely transportation.
- Route Assignment: Assign specific routes (route fences) that buses must follow, ensuring they stick to the designated paths.
- Student Waypoints: Include student pick-up and drop-off points as waypoints, making it easier to manage student transportation.
- Notification Alerts: School management receives alerts via SMS or email for any schedule violations, including time mismatches, route deviations, and missed stops.
- Student Information: Add students to the school bus module with detailed grade information (e.g., class, division, such as VII C).
- Trip Assignment: Assign students to scheduled trips and specify their stops, ensuring each student has at least two trips assigned – one for pickup and one for drop-off.
- Multiple Trips: Students can be assigned to multiple trips as needed.
- Trip-View on Map: A clear visual representation on the map shows the bus route and stoppage points for student pick-up and drop-off.
- Parental Access: Parents can create sub-user accounts with live tracking of the school bus, providing real-time updates on their child’s journey and estimated arrival times at stops.
Parents will receive timely alerts for various scenarios, including:
- When a student fails to board or get off the bus.
- If a student boards the wrong bus or at the wrong stop.
- When a student gets off at the wrong stop.
- Alerts when the bus is en route for pick-up or drop-off.
