SketchPad is your go-to app for unleashing your creativity on the go. Whether you're into sketching, doodling, or just scribbling, SketchPad offers a seamless canvas experience that's perfect for any creative pursuit. Let your imagination take the wheel and explore the endless possibilities with SketchPad.
With a remarkably lightweight download size of just 5 MB, SketchPad is designed to turn your screen into a canvas without any fuss. Unlike other drawing apps that can be cluttered and complex, SketchPad keeps it simple—just you and your canvas, ready to create.
Getting started is a breeze; once installed, you can dive straight into your sketch without any setup. It's truly that straightforward.
Features:
- Simple UI: Enjoy an uncluttered and intuitive interface that makes creating easy.
- No Ads: Focus on your art without interruptions from advertisements.
- No In-App Purchases: All features are available without the need for additional purchases.
- Customizable Brush Width with Instant Preview: Adjust your strokes from bold to fine with immediate feedback.
- Multiple Color Selection Options: Choose your colors using a palette, spectrum, or RGB sliders for precise control.
- Unlimited Undo/Redo: Make mistakes without worry, as long as your device can handle it.
- Shake to Clear Feature: A quick shake of your device clears the canvas, perfect for quick sketches (requires an accelerometer).
- Export Options: Save your work as PNG or JPEG.
- Direct Sharing: Share your creations straight from the app, automatically saving them to your device.
The "Shake to Clear" feature is ideal for casual scribbling, but not recommended for detailed work on moving vehicles like buses. However, it's a fun way to pass the time.
SketchPad is fully functional offline, though sharing your work may require an internet connection. The app needs storage permission solely to save your sketches on your device, and rest assured, your files are safe with us.
By default, exported images are stored in the "/Pictures/SketchPad/" directory. You can customize this path in the settings to fit your preferences, such as saving to "/DCIM/Camera/" for easy access in gallery apps. Note that on Android 10 and newer, images are saved to "/Android/data/com.kanishka_developer.SketchPad/files/Pictures" regardless of settings.
The SketchPad Project prioritizes user experience above all. We welcome your feedback and invite you to join the conversation in the Kaffeine Community Discord server at https://discord.gg/dBDfUQk or email us at [email protected].
