The game uses a standard 52-card deck. You start by placing an equal bet on Ante and Blind, and you have the option to make a Trips bet, which pays out for certain hands. The dealer then deals two cards to you and to themselves, and you get to see your cards.
Next, you can choose to check or place a Play bet, which can be three or four times your Ante. After this, the dealer reveals three community cards. If you checked previously, you now have the option to bet double your Ante or check again. If you've already bet, no further action is needed from you.
The dealer then shows the final two community cards. If you've checked twice before, you must now either bet an amount equal to your Ante or fold. Folding means losing both your Ante and Blind bets.
Like other Texas Holdem variants, the objective is to make the best five-card hand using any combination of your hole cards and the community cards. The dealer needs at least a pair to qualify. If the dealer qualifies, your hands are compared, and the Ante, Blind, and Play bets are resolved according to UTH rules. If you win and the dealer qualifies, you're paid on all three bets. Should the dealer not qualify, your Ante bet is pushed. If the dealer wins, you lose all bets except for any Trips bets. In the case of a tie, all bets are returned.
