The 4 Bead game, also known as 4 Teni, Sholo Guti, or 4 Daane, is a strategic game that can be enjoyed by two players. Each player begins with 4 beads, and the objective is to protect your beads while trying to capture your opponent's. The game kicks off as soon as both players register, with the first player taking the initial move.
During your turn, you must move one of your beads to the nearest available spot. Initially, you'll need to select which of your beads to move. There are two primary ways to move your beads:
- By Moving to the Nearest Spot: In this method, you simply move your bead to the closest empty position. This is a defensive move that helps keep your bead safe from your opponent.
- By Crossing an Opponent's Bead: If the nearest spot to your bead is occupied by an opponent's bead, and the spot beyond that is empty, you can 'cross' over the opponent's bead to the empty spot. This move can be used to capture your opponent's bead. After crossing, you must end your turn by either clicking the 'PASS' button or selecting another bead to move if you've crossed more than one bead in your turn.
It's important to note that you can only move a bead to the nearest spot once per turn, but you can cross multiple beads in a single turn.
The game's outcome hinges on which player loses all their beads first. For example, if Player One loses all their beads before Player Two, then Player Two is declared the winner.
